Day 1 HOI AN - HUE (Lunch/ Dinner)
At 8:30 a.m., you will be greeted at the hotel by our driver and guide. Depart directly for Hue via the imposing Hai Van mountain pass, a part of Truong Son mountain range running down to the sea to cut in the high way. After lunch, we start to discover Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen’s Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City. From here take a cyclo through ‘Old City’ to Tinh Tam Lake where the Emperors used to come to relax. Then you will board a boat for a cruise on the romantic Perfume River heading out for the countryside. Continue to visit Thien Mu (Celestial Lady) Pagoda which is considered the symbol of Hue, and of Buddhism in Vietnam. Before heading back to your hotel take time to stroll around Dong Ba Market which is another of the must see sites in Hue, the stalls are teeming with color and a great place to catch a glimpse of everyday life.
Day 2 HUE – HOI AN (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast, we go visit King Minh Mang’s Tomb and King Tu Duc’s Tomb. On the way back to Hoi An, you’ll pay a visit to Ngu Hanh Son, the region’s famous Marble Mountain. Take some time to discover the stunning natural caves, enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the mountain, find peace and quiet in mysterious pagodas, and visit the village of sculptures. Following your tour head back to your hotel. End of the tour.
