This wonderful trip will bring you a great experience on the way from Hoi An to Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Hue is classified by the government as a very precious property and on December 1993 it was recognized as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. Exploring Hue is one of Vietnam’s greatest pleasures and this day tour reveals the fascinating history and spectacular beauty of this town. Especially, you will have a chance to visit the beautiful Ba Na Hills, a hill station and resort located in the Truong Son Mountain region of central Vietnam.

Day 1 HOI AN – BA NA – HUE (Lunch/Dinner)

At 8:30 a.m., you will be greeted at the hotel in Hoi An by our driver and guide. Drive to Bana Hills to visit the fascinating Linh Ung Pagoda and marvel at its exquisite architectural design. Stand before the massive 30-meter tall statue of Buddha towering in the clouds, and then make your way to a French cellar still used today to distill alcohol…

Afternoon, we go visit Ngu Hanh Son, the region’s famous Marble Mountain. Take some time to discover the stunning natural caves, enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the mountain, find peace and quiet in mysterious pagodas, and visit the village of sculptures. Then depart directly for Hue via the imposing Hai Van mountain pass, a part of Truong Son mountain range running down to the sea to cut in the high way. Stay overnight in Hue.

Day 2 HUE CITY TOUR (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Huế 13Morning we start to discover Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen’s Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City. From here take a cyclo through ‘Old City’ to Tinh Tam Lake where the Emperors used to come to relax. Then you will board a boat for a cruise on the romantic Perfume River heading out for the countryside. Continue to visit Thien Mu (Celestial Lady) Pagoda which is considered the symbol of Hue, and of Buddhism in Vietnam. You will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing visit King Minh Mang’s Tomb and King Tu Duc’s Tomb. Before heading back to your hotel take time to stroll around Dong Ba Market which is another of the must see sites in Hue, the stalls are teeming with color and a great place to catch a glimpse of everyday life.

Day 3 HUE – HOI AN (Breakfast/Lunch)

Free at leisure until transfer back to Hoi An or Da Nang Airport. End of the tour.
